Enterprise Performance Dashboards
Enterprise Performance Dashboards provide a general
view of the entire enterprise, rather than specific business functions.
This overview is most often used by C-level executives, but can
be shared with lower management in an effort to encourage "open
book" cultures.
Typical portlets in an Enterprise Performance Dashboard include:
- Corporate financials
- Sales revenue
- Business Unit KPI's [Key Performance Indicators]
- Supply chain information
- Compliance or regulatory data
- Balanced scorecard information
Within the category of Enterprise Performance Dashboards we include:
- Executive Dashboards
- Balanced Scorecard Dashboards
- Corporate Compliance Dashboards - such as Sarbane Oxley Dashboards
Sarbane Oxley Dashboard
A typical Sarbanes-Oxley compilance (SOX) dashboard will include
comparisons of balance sheet items between internal figures [white
columns] and external auditors [blue columns]. This includes items
such as:
- Accounts receivable
- Cash, inventory
- Current assets
- Current liabilities
- Equity

A prominent area of the dashboard will provide the
most critical KPI information, being the Maximum Variance allowed
and the calculated tolerance, typically with a red/green/yellow
visual attached to summarize the SOX compliance.
